The Calendar tab shows your trainings by date and lets you plan what's next for your horse: trainings, farrier and vet visits, competitions, rest days and more. Planning calendar events is free, on iPhone and Android.
Before you start: on the free plan, you can add new calendar events for one horse: your default horse, which is the first horse you added on your account. New events for your other horses need Premium, and the events already in their calendars stay. See How many horses can I use on the free plan?
See your trainings and events
Open the Calendar tab. Your trainings and planned events show by date. To see only one horse, tap the dropdown at the top left and choose the horse. Choose Me to see all your trainings.
Add an event to the calendar
Open the Calendar tab and tap +.
Choose the type of event. The types are listed below.
Choose the date.
Tap Horse and choose the horse.
For a training, choose the training type.
Change the time if needed, and add a note if you like.
Tap Save.
The event now shows in the calendar on that date, for that horse. Equilab sends calendar reminders as notifications, so keep notifications on for Equilab.
On the same screen, you can also make the event recurring or attach an image. To add a training you rode but didn't track, tap + Manual entry. See How to add a manual training.
Types of calendar event
You can add these types of event to a horse's calendar:
Training: a planned training. Choose the training type from the list.
Farrier
Competition
Medical: choose Deworming, Injury, Sickness, Vaccination or Veterinary (for a vet visit).
Resting: a rest day.
Other: anything else.

A horse's calendar is shared with everyone in the horse's Team. Team members can see the horse's calendar and add events to it, and their trainings on the horse show there too. People who don't have access to the horse can't see its calendar.

If a training or event doesn't show in the calendar
Check these in order:
Check the dropdown at the top left. A horse's name shows only that horse's trainings and events. Choose Me to see all your trainings.
Check the horse on the training. A training saved without a horse doesn't show for that horse. Open it under Profile > Trainings, tap the three dots in the top-right corner, tap Edit, choose the horse and tap Save. See Edit a saved ride.
If a training isn't under Profile > Trainings either, see A ride or horse is missing. If nothing helped, contact support with the horse's name, the date of the training or event, and a screenshot of the calendar.
