My co-rider's rides don't show on our shared horse

A training only shows on a shared horse when that horse is selected on it. Check the horse filter and fix saved trainings.

If you share a horse and some trainings are missing from the horse's calendar, these checks help you find them. They're for the horse's owner and its co-riders. A training shows on a shared horse only when the rider who recorded it selected that horse.

Check these in order

  1. Check that the horse is on the training. The most common reason is that the co-rider recorded the training without choosing the shared horse. The rider who recorded the training opens it and checks the horse's name on it. If there's no horse or the wrong horse, they add the right one:

    • On the Training Summary, tap the three dots in the top-right corner.

    • Tap Edit, choose the shared horse and tap Save.

The training then shows with that horse in the feed on the Home tab, in the Calendar tab and under Profile > Trainings. See Edit a saved ride.

  2. Check the horse filter. Open the Calendar tab, tap the dropdown at the top left and choose the shared horse's name. The horse's name shows all trainings on that horse, including your co-riders'. Me shows all your own trainings, on every horse.

  3. Check that the co-rider is on the horse's Team. If the shared horse isn't in the co-rider's list of horses, the owner needs to add them to the horse's Team. See Share a horse with co-riders (Horse Team).

  4. Log out and log back in. If the horse is on the training and the filter is right, but the training still doesn't show, the phone may not have synced. Connect to Wi-Fi or a strong mobile signal, then log out of Equilab and log back in. This makes the app sync all trainings again.

Looking in the feed on the Home tab? A training marked Private doesn't show in the feed, but the horse's Team still sees it in the shared horse's Calendar. Check the Calendar with the horse filter instead.

Stop it from happening again

Before you start tracking, choose the shared horse with the Horse button on the Track tab. Each rider on the horse's Team chooses the horse on every training. See How to record a ride.
