Some Equilab features have moved between the free plan and Premium over time. This page lists the changes from April 2023 and October 2024, in case a feature you used before now works differently. For what each plan includes today, see What's included in Free and Premium.
October 2024 changes
With the app version released on October 15, 2024, two Premium features became free:
Planning future calendar events, such as trainings, competitions and horse appointments. On the free plan, you can plan events for your default horse, the first horse you added to your account. Events for more horses need Premium.
Weather on every training, shown on the Training Summary.
At the same time, two free features became Premium:
Detailed Statistics, such as top speed and elevation. Detailed Statistics for each gait already needed Premium before.
Trends, the charts of your distance, time, turns and other data over time. On the free plan, the Trends tab shows a limited view. See Follow your progress with Trends.
April 2023 changes
In April 2023, these changes were made to the free plan and Premium:
Correcting gaits with Gait Segments was added to Premium: riders with Premium can change the gait of any part of a mounted training. See Correct the gaits on a ride (Gait Segments).
More than one horse became Premium. On the free plan, you can add one horse.
Audio Coach became Premium.
What the April 2023 horse change means today
Horses you added before April 15, 2023 stay in Equilab. On the free plan, you can track with only one of them: your default horse, which is the first horse you added to your account. New trainings and calendar events for your other horses need Premium. See How many horses can I use on the free plan?
