What's included in Free and Premium

See what the free plan includes and what Equilab Premium adds, from Detailed Statistics to Safety Tracking.

Recording your trainings with Equilab is free. Equilab Premium adds deeper analysis, Safety Tracking, coaching and more horses. This page shows what each plan includes. It's the same on iPhone and Android unless a row says otherwise.

Horses on the free plan

The free plan includes one horse. To add a second horse, you need Premium.

Horses you added before April 15, 2023, or while you had Premium, stay in your profile. On the free plan you can track with only one of them: your default horse, which is the first horse you added in the app. New trainings and new calendar events for your other horses need Premium. See How many horses can I use on the free plan?

Start Premium

You can buy Equilab Premium in the app, through the App Store or Google Play, or on our website. In the app, Premium starts with a 7-day free trial if you're eligible. The website has no free trial. See Start Premium or a free trial.

Frequently asked questions

Here are answers to common questions about the free plan and Equilab Premium.

Can I share Premium with my family?

No. Equilab Premium is per account and can't be shared with family members or other riders. Each rider who wants Premium needs their own subscription.

Equilab also offers group Premium subscriptions. If you're interested, contact Equilab support to find out more.

Were some features free before, or Premium before?

Yes. Some features moved between the free plan and Premium. In October 2024, planning future calendar events and weather on every training became free, and Detailed Statistics and the Trends charts became Premium. In April 2023, Gait Segments was added to Premium, and adding more horses and Audio Coach became Premium. See Plan changes over time (April 2023 and October 2024).

What happens to my data if Premium ends?

Your trainings and horses stay in Equilab when Premium ends, but you can no longer use the Premium features. See What happens when Premium ends.
