When Equilab Premium ends, your account moves to the free plan. Your trainings, horses and horse documents stay in Equilab, but Premium features stop and you can track with only one of your own horses.
When Premium ends
After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, or until your free trial ends. Then your account moves to the free plan. To cancel, see Cancel your Premium subscription.
What stays when Premium ends
All your trainings, horses and horse documents.
Gait changes you already made with Gait Segments.
Private trails you shared with friends stay shared.
What stops when Premium ends
On the free plan you can no longer use these Premium features:
Detailed Statistics
The charts, Energy Consumption (Android) and Export in Trends (you can still use All trainings and Compare)
Correcting gaits with Gait Segments
Exporting a training as GPX, or your trainings as a spreadsheet
Importing training files, and importing trainings from Apple Health (iPhone only)
Ride Replays
Safety Tracking with Safety Contacts, and sharing a live tracking link
Audio Coach and Posture Coach
Horse heart rate with a Polar sensor
Apple Watch Standalone mode
Android (Wear OS) watch Standalone mode
Sharing trails with chosen friends, searching and filtering trails, GPX export and downloading trails for offline use
Joining Premium Challenges (free Challenges stay open to you)
Equilab Rewards
Trails you downloaded for offline use are removed when Premium ends. When you open your trails in the app, the Downloaded trails section shows an Unlock Premium button instead.
Data you recorded with Premium isn't deleted, but you may not be able to open some of it on the free plan. For the full list, see What's included in Free and Premium.
Your horses on the free plan
All your horses stay in your profile when Premium ends. On the free plan you can track with only one of your own horses: your default horse. You can still track with horses that another rider shared with you. Your default horse is the first horse you added to your account, even if you mostly tracked with another horse while you had Premium. If you have more than one horse of your own, you can't change which one is your default horse.
For your other horses, you can still:
see the horse's profile and edit it
see the horse's past trainings
add documents, up to 3 per horse
You can't record new trainings or add calendar events for these horses until you have Premium again. Adding a new horse also needs Premium. See How many horses can I use on the free plan?
Horse documents on the free plan
On the free plan you can add up to 3 documents per horse. If a horse has more than 3 documents when Premium ends, all of them stay, but you can't add new documents to that horse. See Store your horse's documents.

To use the Premium features again, start Premium in the app or on our website. See Start Premium or a free trial.
