How to add your friends in the app

Equilab empowers you to easily connect with friends and fellow riders around the world.

Adding other Equilab users as a Friend enables you to use many awesome features, such as:

• Viewing, adding likes to, and commenting on each others rides and achievements
• Competing directly on Challenge leaderboards
• Using Live Safety Tracking to follow their location while riding (for Premium subscribers)
• Sharing horses

Here's how to add friends in the app:

1. Press the add friends icon (person with a "+") in the upper left corner of the Home screen
   
2. Search for friends using their name, or connect your Facebook account to see suggestions
   
3. Once you find your friend, press the "+" icon on the right side of their name to send a friend request
   
   • If you can't find them, press the "Invite Friends" button and send them a link they can use to download the app and create an account
     
     

You'll receive a notification when they've accepted. You'll also receive a notification when you have been sent a Friend request from another user. To accept a Friend request, simply open the notification (from the bell icon in the top right corner of the Home screen) and tap "Accept". 

If you need to remove a Friend from Equilab, take these steps:

1. Nagivate to your Profile page in the app
   
   
   
2. Tap on the "Friends" tab
   
   
   
3. Tap on your friend's name to open their Profile page
   
   
4. Tap on the 3 dots from the top-right section of your screen
    
5. Tap on the "Remove" option
