iPhones - Preventing Interrupted Trainings

Modified on Thu, 21 Mar 2024 at 11:48 PM

Equilab is constantlly collecting and processing data while tracking your ride, which requires both battery and processing capacity from your phone. To help improve battery life, your iPhone will close Equilab if the app has used too much. Unfortunately, when iPhones close Equilab it ends the tracking of the training. To help prevent this, we recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Set your phone to Airplane Mode (you can turn it on and off during your ride to check for calls/texts without effecting the tracking).
  2. Kill other apps before you start tracking (this is especially important for other GPS-based tracking apps).
  3. Ensure Low Power Mode is disabled
