For users with iPhones, Equilab has used Apple's Widget feature to enable you to start tracking without having to unlock or open your phone. You can now begin your ride from your lockscreen!
To enable this feature on your iPhone, take the following steps:
- Touch and hold empty space on your Lock Screen until the Customize button appears, then tap Customize.
- Select Lock Screen.
- Tap Add Widgets.
- Scroll down the list of apps with widgets available until you find Equilab, and then tap or drag its widgets to the Lock Screen.
- Optional: If you want to be able to choose which horse or training type is selected for rides started with the widget, tap again on the Equilab widget after adding and you will be able to select a horse and training type. This is important for users with gaited horses who are looking to detect tölt.

- Once you've finished adding the widget, tap the close button, then tap Done.
If there’s not enough room for a new widget, you can tap the Remove button to remove a widget and make room for the one you want to add. (Currently Apple only allows one row of lockscreen widgets.)
